We are excited to be recruiting for part-time LDU Operator join our friendly and welcoming team at Blairgowrie Dental Care. 

Hours of work:
- Thursday: 8.30am - 5.00pm
- Friday: 8.30am - 4.30pm

Blairgowrie Dental Care has served the local community since 1985 in a friendly and welcoming environment. Our practice is conveniently located in the heart of Blairgowrie town, there is ample parking in the car park on Croft Lane and the bus stop is within walking distance.

Your Role

You will be responsible for ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, disinfected, sterilised, and ready for safe use. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control within the dental practice. Training will be provided for the role.

Other duties include:

• Identify and log instruments/equipment which require repair/replacement
  

• Monitor stock levels of decontamination supplies and report shortages
  

• To maintain log books and keep paperwork updated
  

• Routine auditing of equipment
  

• Manage workloads within the LDU

About You

• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  

• Ability to follow strict protocols and procedures
  

• The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

• Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skill
  

• Hep B vaccination will be required, which will be arranged for you
