Dental Receptionist
Join us!
We're looking to welcome a full-time Receptionist to the team at City Dental, part of Clyde Munro. This opportunity has arisen as a result of the continued growth and expansion of the practice.
City Dental is a busy, modern practice providing a wide range of treatments, including sedation, oral surgery, dental implants, and SureSmile short-term orthodontics. This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to broaden their skills while being part of a friendly and supportive team.
Conveniently located in the heart of Glasgow city centre, the practice is within easy walking distance of a variety of shops, cafés, and local amenities. It also benefits from excellent transport links, making it easily accessible by both car and public transport.
The Position
In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering a high standard of front-of-house service, ensuring every patient receives a warm, professional experience that reflects our practice values. You'll also support the team in maintaining compliance with all relevant health and safety procedures.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Greeting patients in a friendly and welcoming manner, helping them feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
Using Software of Excellence effectively to keep patient records accurate, up to date, and well maintained.
Handling incoming telephone enquiries, booking appointments, and processing patient payments.
Keeping the reception area clean, organised, and presentable to create a positive first impression and reinforce confidence in the practice.
Coordinating clinicians' appointment schedules to maximise surgery efficiency, support productivity, and ensure patients can access appointments that meet their needs.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience in a dental practice is desirable, although not essential.
Experience working in a busy reception or customer-facing role.
Confident IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
A genuine commitment to providing outstanding patient care and creating a positive experience for every visitor.
The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a supportive team.
A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to develop new skills and grow within the role.
